Do Not Book Your Ferry Ticket Until You Know This!
For individuals planning to stay overnight on Phi Phi Island or who have already booked a hotel/accommodation/resort on the island:
- “Where is your hotel or accommodation located on Phi Phi Island?” This is one of the most common questions we receive, and it’s extremely important when planning your trip. Different hotels/accommodations/resorts have different transportation services. Some may provide pick-up services directly from the ferry, while others might charge an additional fee for long-tail boat transfers to their accommodations. Some hotels even offer free pick-up and drop-off services. Therefore, it’s essential to ask your accommodation where it’s located—whether it’s in the Ton Sai Bay area, Laemtong Beach, or another area—so you can plan your trip and avoid unexpected additional costs.
- Where would you like to be picked up?
Where your accommodation is located on Phi Phi Island (or Phuket) matters for planning pick-up times and the vehicle (van) waiting at the lobby. If you’re not sure where your hotel or accommodation is located, feel free to ask the hotel staff or contact Walker Thailand’s team for reassurance before making your booking. - Current email, phone number, or other contact details:
This is very important! Once your booking and payment are confirmed, an E-Voucher will be sent to your email for check-in at the ferry terminal. We also require a contact phone number (this is very important) in case the driver has trouble finding you or in case of other issues or emergencies. We recommend providing a backup contact number if you have one. This will help ensure a smoother travel experience. - For foreign travelers who don’t have a local Thai phone number:
You can provide your WhatsApp number in the contact phone number section, which is also acceptable. - For those with connecting flights:
If you have a connecting flight (either domestic or international), we recommend arriving at the airport at least 2-3 hours before your domestic flight, or 3-4 hours before your international flight. The ferry ride, pick-up service, traffic in Phuket (especially in the evening), checking documents, and other factors may take some time. Arriving earlier will give you peace of mind and ensure you won’t miss your flight. Better to be early than to risk missing your flight! XD - Baggage:
Typically, the company allows one suitcase and one backpack per person. If you have more than one suitcase, there may be an additional fee. If you’re unsure, it’s always best to contact us in advance. - Contact Information:
– WhatsApp: (+66) 98 051 6083
– Line Account: 0980516083 or Line ID: Teddy2897
– Phone Numbers: (+66) 98 051 6083, (+66) 65 103 6965
– Email: walkerthailand.mkt@gmail.com - Pets on the Ferry:
The company allows pets on the ferry, but they must be kept in a proper pet carrier. There may be additional rules or changes to the regulations, so we recommend contacting Walker Thailand before booking your ferry ticket. We’re happy to provide advice and assistance! :’)
