This was probably the worst travel mistake I’ve made. I booked my ferry ticket with Walker Thailand, everything was fine. But when I arrived at Rassada Pier, some staff there tricked me into buying another ticket again. Since I had just arrived from Phuket Airport and didn’t buy a SIM card yet, I couldn’t contact Walker Thailand. It was my very first time in Phuket, and I had no idea how things worked at the pier. I panicked and quickly paid them because I was afraid I’d miss the boat. The check-in staff didn’t help either—they just stayed quiet. The biggest lesson: if you’re sure you already booked, just show your booking and say confidently, “I already have my ticket.” Never pay twice because they won’t refund you at the pier. Thankfully, Teddy stepped in and coordinated between the pier staff and the ferry company. That helped me understand the process better. Honest and reliable ferry services really do exist! If you’re traveling to Phi Phi or other islands, I recommend Walker Thailand only.
