‘Sawasdeeka’ Hello, my name is Tat, or ‘Teddy.’ I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, specializing in Tourism Industry, from Rajabhat University, Phuket Campus. I was born and raised in Phuket (I’ve literally been on the island my whole life, haha xD), and I am of Thai-Chinese descent. Because of this, I have a deep understanding of the local arts, culture, traditions, cuisine, and the way of life in Phuket.
The first feeling of being captivated by nature.
It all started back in high school when I discovered my love for traveling. During that time, I had the chance to intern as a tour guide assistant. The first island that completely stole my heart was Similan Island. What I saw, and still vividly remember, was the iconic Sail Rock with the crystal-clear, blue waters that looked just like the Maldives—right here in Thailand. I was so mesmerized by the beauty that I stood there, completely awestruck. In that moment, I confidently told myself, “I want to work in tourism, so I can experience this kind of beauty again, and I hope these natural wonders can stay with us for a long time.”
Over 9 years of travel experience.
After graduating with a degree in tourism, I began working in marketing, covering areas like Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, and both Online and Offline Marketing. I’ve been immersed in the tourism industry for about 9years and have built strong, long-lasting partnerships with tour operator companies.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to meet and work with people from all walks of life, with diverse languages, nationalities, and cultures. I’m truly proud to be one of the people helping international tourists learn more about Thai traditions and culture—especially in the fields of tourism, arts, and the cultural heritage of Phuket, my hometown.
I started traveling on my own.
When I had the chance to travel to different islands on my own, I felt a sense of happiness and excitement every time I set out. Each journey brought unique experiences, whether it was the smiles of the locals, the breathtaking beauty of nature, or the chance to immerse myself in the culture and way of life of the people there. I could feel the serenity of the lush greenery growing on the rocks around the islands or watch wild animals coming out for a morning drink from natural water sources. It was all so beautiful that it left lasting memories I can’t easily forget.
It took a journey to become Walker Thailand.
Becoming Walker Thailand wasn’t easy at all. It took a lot of dedication, both physical and mental, to develop all the systems and services on my own. But I was fortunate to have 100% encouragement and support from my beautiful mom (just in case she reads this, haha 5555) (ﾉ´ヮ`)ﾉ*
Thanks to the love and support from my mom, I was able to make countless mistakes and learn from them. I also want to thank myself for having the courage to start something from scratch. Finally, I was able to step out of my comfort zone (and I’m so proud of that!).
This led to the creation of “Walker Thailand,” which serves as a bridge for people who want to travel by ferry in places like Phuket, Phi Phi Islands, Krabi, Koh Lanta, and beyond. And here we are today.

Walker Thailand is officially registered and holds a valid tour operator license with license number 34/03357, in full compliance with the law.
Our goal is to build “safety, trust, transparency, and accountability,” so that all travelers can feel confident and worry-free when traveling with us.
